Lancôme is a heritage beauty brand and one that has been around for generations. However, their identity hasn’t changed during their 80+ year reign which is why I picked them to re-brand and give a fresh look. They have been trying to target a new, young customer through their newer brand ambassadors like Zendaya, their collaboration and their foray into the digital space and a new look would be the perfect way to boost this transition. I took into account their French heritage, their best-selling products and the changing landscape of branding and brand identities and After a lot of playing around and consideration, I decided on a simpler look with the iconic petal from their La Vie en Rose perfume bottle, which is a product that is synonymous with the Lancôme brand.
